We have an interesting phenomena here in Wyoming. Something that has been brewing for some time. Many believe this state is politically “red”, but in fact it is not necessarily so.
Although most of the politicians here are registered as republicans (which is considered red), it is not entirely accurate. Wyoming has several politicians that claim to be conservative, register as republicans, and pretend they adhere to the republican party platform. This is noted at all levels of the political structure, city, county, state, and the executive. This is also noted with the judicial and law enforcement.
How can this be, you might ask. That’s a good question, and not an easy one to answer. Simply because the root of this dilemma is voter apathy. Thus, if voters are apathetic about what is happening politically within their state, where, and how, do they get enthusiastic of seeking truth? As you can see, no easy answers.
Perhaps comic relief will help. As we look upon the drama of political bickering, maybe viewing from a different perspective will shed some light. The Wyoming Blues endeavors to do just that, comic relief while being informative.
